REV 1:7

Revelation 1:7

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

This truth is the great hope and expectation of all true believers today and it is the theme of Revelation. The death and resurrection of Christ and the promise of His second coming are the foundation of our hope. They were a great source of strength to the Early Church and are even more so to us today as we move into the final days of time before Christ's return. This verse reveals how Jesus will return. He will come in the same manner in which He ascended into Heaven:

Behold he cometh with clouds ---

Behold - "behold" is prefixed to it, to excite attention, and to denote the importance of it: things of great moment, and very surprising, will then be done;

Symbol Cloud
·       Clouds are appropriate symbols of majesty, and God is often represented as appearing in that manner.
·       In other words Christ will appear in great glory and majesty

15 times it is  written in Bible the Son of man is going to come in the midst of cloud.

Daniel 7:13, Zechariah 12:10, Zechariah 12:11 – Daniel and Zachariah saw the vision.
Matthew 16:27, Matthew 16:28, Matthew 25:31, Luke 21:27, Luke 23:28 – Jesus Christ Himself foretold about it.
John 19:37 – John telling about how he will come

 Mount Sinai was covered with full of smoke
Exodus 19:18 God came down on mount of Sinai that time the mount of Sinai was covered with full of smoke why because God came down as a fire;

Jesus will not come to earth in secret coming. People only will meet Him in heaven
1 Thessalonians 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

And every eye shall see him

 The righteous shall see him, and be glad; they shall see him in his glory, as he is, and for themselves, and be satisfied; they shall rejoice at the sight of him; they will be filled with joy unspeakable, and full of glory:
But the wicked will see him and tremble; they will be filled with sock and they will surprise; they will not be able to bear the sight of him;

And they also which pierced him –

  Zechariah 12:10 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

1.   Many times the Jews community went against God. We can see this in the OT
2.   In NT also Jews community did not accept Jesus Christ they killed him, his hands, feet, and side, when they crucified him; both the Roman soldiers, who actually did it, and the body of the Jewish nation, the rulers and common people, who consented to it, and at whose instigation it was done; these, being raised from the dead, shall see him with their bodily eyes, whom they so used,
3.   The expression here refers not to the Jews only, but to all who reject the Son of Man
4.   Who are not accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
5.   Who is worshiping false Gods or Idols worshipers.
6.   All sinners who have pierced his heart by their crimes also can able to see the son of man coming on cloud.
7.    which no one can doubt, is proof that people feel that they are guilty

Even so, Amen - "A double expression of "so be it, assuredly, certainly,". It is true, so be it.
