reveation 6:3,4

Revelation 6:3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!"
Revelation 6:4 And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that men should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.
KJV - The Second Seal: John writes of the 2nd horseman, "It was granted to the one who sat on the red horse to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword."

I.            bright red

We do know that the symbolic color of red is “war”. As a color fiery red, red (as fire). fiery red may be intended to be symbolic of bloodshed.

II.        Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that men should slay one another,

Zechariah also saw the horse vision. We can’t say both are giving exactly same meaning. but we can find some similarities from both vision what John had and what Zechariah had.

Now we see what Zechariah’s vision?

Zechariah saw two type of vision one was four horses with riders coming separately. This we  can see his book chapter 1:8.

Vision I

Zechariah 1:8 "I saw in the night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse! He was standing among the myrtle trees in the glen, and behind him were red, sorrel, and white horses.

When Zechariah asking about more details about this horse   to the angle and angle replied in verse1:10,11

Zechariah 1:10 So the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered, 'These are they whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.'
Zechariah 1:11 And they answered the angel of the Lord who was standing among the myrtle trees, and said, 'We have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth remains at rest.'

Vision II

Zechariah saw the second vision horse chariots. We can see this his book chapter 6:1,2 & 3.
Zechariah 6:1 Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains. And the mountains were mountains of bronze.
Zechariah 6:2 The first chariot had red horses, the second black horses,
Zechariah 6:3 the third white horses, and the fourth chariot dappled horses--all of them strong.[1]

When he asked about this horse chariots to angle, angle replied in Zechariah 6:5
KJV -   And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

Action bible -Zechariah 6:5 And the angel answered and said to me, "These are going out to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.

Four Spirits – The word “Spirit” (Hebrew ruchoth, singular, ruach)  occurs 377 times in the Old Testament.  In the KJV, it is translated “Spirit” 232 times, and translated “Wind” 90 times with a variety of other translations in the other texts.  It is noted that many translators have a preference for the meaning, “Winds”. (i.e. Septuagint, RSV)  Therefore ‘the Four Spirits of the heavens’ is rendered as ‘the four Winds of Heaven.’
In Zacharias’ red horse was saw the peace in this world but when we see the John’s vision’s red horse bring the war into this world. Here both vision’s means are contradict. That means both the red horses are different ? but if we read Daniel’s vision we can get some answer of relation between these to red horses.
KJV - Daniel 8:8 - “Therefore the male goat grew very great; but when he became strong, the large horn was broken, and in place of it four notable ones came up toward the four winds of heaven
Daniel 8:9 And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceeding great toward the south, toward the east and toward the Glorious Land.”

Action Bible -Daniel 8:8 Then the goat became exceedingly great, but when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven.
Daniel 8:9 Out of one of them came a little horn, which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the glorious land
After the great horn was broken , from the great horn 4 other horns are rising it goes against the four wind of heaven.

As I mentioned earlier the four wind and four sprit both are same. What is the four sprit ? that four sprit are angle who ridding the four horses. Where the angel are coming from they are coming from God’s throne.

We see the in book of revelation about the Final War Armageddon in Revelation 16:14 &16. This war between the world power and angelic power

…from the earth
Revelation 16:14 For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.
Revelation 16:16 And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon

The red horse roaming throughout the world (in English translation mention the “when the strong horse” here it not mention the color of the horse. But we can understand this is the red horse because in the previous verse Zec.6:6 God gave a duty to other three color horses. So the left out horse was red only from this we can able to understand this strong horse was refers the red horse chariot).

Zechariah 6:7 When the strong horses came out, they were impatient to go and patrol the earth. And he said, "Go, patrol the earth." So they patrolled the earth.

In the book of Revelation also the work of the horse given by God was to make the war
