REVELATION 11 : 15-19

^{REVELATION 11: 15-19}

¹⁵    Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"

¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God,

¹⁷ saying:  " We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

18       The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,

         And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth."

¹⁹       Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

Then the seventh angel sounded

Now last and final trumpet was blew by the seventh angel. Because the last 7 seal’s wrath, 7 thunder’s wrath and 6 trumpet’s wrath the people was not ready to repent themselves. They are enjoying the anti-christ ruling and they are very much satisfied under his government. So there is no other possibilities to our God, He allowed to blow the 7^th trumpet followed by the 7th trumpet there are many incidents were happened all those things we will see the following sessions.

 And there were loud voices in heaven

Here apostle John is writing “loud voices” that means John head many people’s, angle’s, 24 elder’s voice. What the voice is saying ?

"The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ,

This part of the verse only changing the whole world’s history. In the beginning when God created the world for good things but satan got the dominion over the world through deceiving Adam and Eve. From that time on words till the time the world is under the satan’s rule. There are many scripture references we can see from bible this world is under the satan’s ruling.

Most familiear verse Matthew 4:8-11 our Lord Yesuah tested by satan during His fasting time and Isaiah 14:12, Job 1:6…

2 Corinthians 4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.(NKJV)

                  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (KJV)

Satan got power of air

            Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: (KJV)

Ephesians 2:2    in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, (NKJV)

               Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated  us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Colossians 1:13           He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, lie in the "power of the evil one" (1 John 5:19), and are in bondage to Satan (Ephesians 2:2).

All above references are stating that this world is rule by satan. When it is redeemed completely from satan’s hand after the seventh trumpet blew by the seventh angle our God almighty got back from his hand and He start to rule the world. That only we can see in this verse "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ,

He shall reign forever and ever

God will reign forever is fore told many times in the bible Isaiah, Daniel and Zechariah still many people from the bible was told. Now we see some of the reference we will see now. Every time we are praying in our Lord’s Prayer “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in the heaven”

Daniel 7:27 Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'

Zechariah 14:9 And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be --- " The LORD is one," And His name one.

Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end,…

Daniel 2:44   And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

Daniel 4:3 How great are His signs, And how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And His dominion is from generation to generation.

Daniel 6:26 I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God, And steadfast forever; His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, And His dominion shall endure to the end.

Daniel 7:14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.

¹⁶      And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God,

The 24 elders' (4:10; 5:8, 14; 7:13-14) response to this announcement was to fall prostrate before God. Worship in heaven contrasts with rebellion on earth.

¹⁷      saying: " We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

" We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty,

The elders start to praise Lord God Almighty because He is going to redeem the world from the satan and evil doers.

The One who is and who was and who is to come,

This porstion of the verse we already discussed in the Rev. 1:8. Is you want say in one word our Lord and savior is “everlasting” God for yesterday, today and tomorrow. He is the alpha and omega, first and last.

Because You have taken Your great power and reigned

Here the elders declaring that the everlasting our Lord Jesus taken His power and start to reigning the world.

 

^{18      a}The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, ^bAnd the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, ^cAnd should destroy those who destroy the earth."

The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come

Who rebelled against the Lord? And the Lord’s wrath going to pour up on them. This we already saw in 7 seals, 7 trumpets, 7 thunders and one 7 blows of wrath is pending we will going to see in the following sessions

This verse talking about the judgment. This verse contains three parts (a, b & c) first^a and last^c part of the verse talking about the judgment for the wicked people and the second^b part of the verse is talking about the reward for the dead and servants of God and saints of God and who are all fear the Lord and His commandments up to their end (Mat. 24:13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.) of life they all revising the rewards form the God and will with Him forever and ever

¹⁹      Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

The inmost part of it. Was opened in heaven - And hereby is opened a new scene of the most momentous things, that we may see how the contents of the seventh trumpet are executed; and, notwithstanding the greatest opposition, (particularly by the third woe,) brought to a glorious conclusion. And the ark of the covenant was seen in his temple - The ark of the covenant which was made by Moses was not in the second temple, being probably burnt with the first temple by the Chaldeans. But here is the heavenly ark of the everlasting covenant, the shadow of which was under the Old Testament, Hebrews 9:4. The inhabitants of heaven saw the ark before: St. John also saw it now; for a testimony, that what God had promised, should be fulfilled to the uttermost. And there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail - The very same there are, and in the same order, when the seventh angel has poured out his phial; Revelation 16:17- 21: one place answers the other. What the trumpethere denounces in heaven, is there executed by the phial upon earth. First it is shown what will be done; and afterwards it is done.

REVELATION 11: 11-14

The Witnesses Resurrected

^{Rev 11:11} Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.

^{Rev 11:12} And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.

^{Rev 11:13} In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Now after the three-and-a-half days

           According to this statement the three and of days was over after their death. All these three and of years the whole world filled with worldly happiness. Because those time most of the people belongs to the antichrist supporters. So the death of these two prophet was gave happiness in their heart. Because during their power full ministries, people were tormented by these two prophets. They are not able to accept whatever the two prophets where told. Whole world stood against each and every word of these two prophets. The scripture says the words of these two prophets were tormented them.

The breath of life from God entered them,

But our God got angry very much on these people. God gave to this world final opportunity to repent but these people’s heart were hardened. They are not will willing to repent. They are very much satisfied by the antichrist government. They want to enjoy the world pleasure.  Last but not least God did the last miracle in front of their eyes. God gave an opportunity to these people through giving the breath to these two prophets and He risen from them again. At least after the seeing this incident the people will repent.

and great fear fell on those who saw them.

But that time also the people not repent. Just they were afraid of these two prophets resurrection. From their life time this is the first time seeing that the dead persons raising and coming back to the life. This time also the people not understand that these two prophets were resurrected through God’s breath.

Revelation 11:12 And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here."

After the resection of these two prophets a loud voice came from the heaven saying them “Come up here”. This voice heard all of them. The scripture says the voice heard by all enemies of these two prophets.  Here the enemies means anti-christ and his followers.

And they ascended to heaven in a cloud

After the voice spoke to the two prophets, these two prophets is start ascending to the heaven through the cloud. This also the first time the people saw a person ascending into heave by body and soul. After this seeing this miracle also the people were not repent for their sins or there are not ready to accept the Lord as their redeemer. Still their hearts were hardened.

Revelation 111:3 In the same hour there was a great earthquake

This time God got more furies about this wicked people. After this very powerful ministry also why these people’s heart and mind very stubborn.  Especially about His own Israel people. So He send the disaster to the Jerusalem city.

In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed

Because of this earthquake disaster scripture says 7000 people were died. We don’t know why the number 7000 was exactly mentioned here.

and the rest were afraid

After the great disaster few people were afraid.

gave glory to the God of heaven

After saw the earth quack some of them understand the voice from the heaven is belongs to the God Almighty. So some of the people gave their goriness to God of heaven. But bible not mention they repent because of these incidents the people gave their goriness to the God of heaven . 

Rev 11:4 The second woe is past.

Here the second woe is finished. To recollect what incidents where happened in the second woe.

1.      This second woe started in the chapter 9:12

2.      Rev 9:13-20 the four devil angle are released the four courners of wind. Because of that 200 million demons are came out and killed 1/3 of the people

3.      Rev 9:21 after these incident also the people were not repent.

4.      Rev 10:1-2 appearance of mighty angle with scroll which was sweet to mouth and bitter to stomach and His final message “that there should be delay no longer” to the all lounges, nations, kings.

5.       Rev 11:1-2 Measuring the temple

6.      Rev 11:3-13 two prophets, their ministries, their death and their resurrection. 

Behold, the third woe is coming quickly.

This is an announcement of third woe.  We will see the next session what are the things are going to happen during the third woe.
