Revelation 1:2
Rev 1:2 who
bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of
all things that he saw.
“Who bare record”–
Apostle John bare record of
the three following things: the word of God, the testimony of Jesus, and all
things he saw. This was a proof that John recorded everything without any alterations.
“Of the word of God”–
Apostle John is the one and only evidence for the past,
the present and the future time.
1. Before the creation of the world (In John. 1: 1, 2 In the BEGINNING was the WORD, and the WORD was
with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. He was in the BEGINNING with GOD.)
2. During the creation of the world (John 1:3 ALL THINGS WERE MADE THROUGH HIM, and without him
was not anything made that was made.)
3. Jesus Christ (John
1:14 And
the WORD BECAME FLESH and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as
of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.)
4. What is going to happen in the end time (Rev 4:1 …Come up here, and I
will show you what must TAKE PLACE AFTER THIS)
…”testimony Of Jesus Christ”–
Therefore this is a message from Jesus not from John.
The testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy, (Revelation 19:10 “you must not do that! I am a
fellow servant with YOU and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus.
Worship God." For the TESTIMONY of JESUS is the spirit of prophecy.).
…”All
things that he saw”–
These words clearly explains us what the angels
is going to show him in future. (Rev. 1:1
which God gave him to SHOW to his SERVANTS, Rev 4:1 … I will SHOW you what must TAKE PLACE AFTER THIS).
The signs and symbols which Apostle John saw helped him to understand God's message more clearly. Because Bible says whoever
reads these words, those are blessed (Rev. 1:3).
