⁵        The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to heaven

⁶        and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer,

⁷        but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

We already discussed about this verse in the previous session. This verse shows the authority of the angel that means Yesuha’s authority on heaven and earth.

Math 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

 Apart from that this is Israelite’s traditions we can see an example from the Old Testament when Abraham after conquer the Subdomains, he taking oath against the king of Sodom saying that

  Gen 14:23 "I have raised my hand to the LORD, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth,

Another example we can see an angel taking oath to Daniel. When he taking oath what he is doing we will see from book of Daniel 12:7

Daniel 12:7 Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.

Rev 10:6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer,

That gives us a glimpse of what is coming in the book of Revelation. This mighty Angel began by raising his right hand to heaven. Have you ever had to do that when you took an oath in a court, and swore to tell the truth? This is where that ritual originated. The raising of the hand looks back to this very scene in Revelation. It is a sign that a solemn oath is about to be taken. The Angel swore by God, the One who created the earth, the heaven, and the sea, and everything in them. "we know that this was Christ the Creator himself; would he swear by himself?" Yes, it is Christ. But I remind you that, in the book of Hebrew 6:13 when God wanted to swear an oath to Abraham that he would keep his promises to him, we are told that because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself.

“Heb 6:13       For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,”

That is what Jesus is doing here. He is swearing by the triune God -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

…that there should be delay no longer,

For what the delay no longer ?

1.      All end time prophecies told in the Holy Scripture to be full fill without delay no longer.

2.      The rapture of God’s people is  delay no longer.

3.      All wraths of the God on wicked people will be delay no longer.

4.      To destroying the serpent by God will be  delay no longer.

5.      The judgment day will be delay no longer.

6.      Millennium year of reigning will be delay no longer.

7.      The eternity life will be delay no longer.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I request you all to open your ears and be alert. This message is not told by somebody but Yesuha Himself telling this message to us “delay no longer”, Yes the time is no more.     

Mystery of God would be finished…

Okay, now let’s consider the meaning of the remarkable passage:

“…but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished…”

(musthv rion Musterion) The Greek word is derived from the verb muo; to shut the mouth. Daniel’s words were sealed until the time was ready.  One day the meaning of all prophecy will be revealed.  There will not be a mystery of God’s plans any more in the time …. “In the days of the sounding of the seventh angel”

The phrase “the mystery of God would be finished” speaks of the mystery that has always surrounded God’s timetable for these last days. For God has consistently remained silent, even under cross-examination, to reveal the time. The prophet Daniel, for instance, was refused an answer when he asked about it (Dan.12:5-9). When the Apostles did likewise Jesus said, “But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only” (Matt.24:3,36). In other words, dear ones, the date for these last days will remain a mystery known only to the Father until God openly declares it at the appointed time revealed by this passage.

He declared to His servants the prophets…   God has already revealed parts of his plan in the

scriptures through his prophets.  We are told in Daniel 12:10, those who are wise will understand God’s plan, but none of the wicked will understand.  Understanding God’s end-time plan is a blessing and a sign of wisdom according to the scriptures.

In the Amos God told nothing He will without telling to his server prophet.

 Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

In the book of revelation there are many incidents are told by John. Many God’s people and commentators are explained the vision and mystery. But every one explaining the different manner. Why this contradiction, because know ones know the real. God will reveal all those thing when time comes. When Daniel time he don’t know about 70 weeks, but we all of us know about the 7o weeks prophecy. How we came to know this prophecy because the time came so God revlead to us which not revealed to Daniel. Same like this all the prophecy will be reveal when the time comes.
