REVELATION 9: 16-19

16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them.

¹⁷      And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone.

¹⁸      By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed --- by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.

¹⁹            For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.

In v16 john hear the voice. The voice stating that the number of the horsemen army.  In v17 he mentioning the how many numbers. It was 200million that means 2 billion 

One thing we can understand from the number is the strength of the army and the count what he mentioned was very huge amount. 

The main three things we can see from this verses

1.     About army

2.     Type of army – Horse men

3.     Strength of army – 200 million or 2 Billion

Practically if we think it is possible? We have 200 million horses are available through out the world ? I’don’t think so ? that means scripture is worng ? absolulty not,  because our Yahweh never ever do the mistake Amen. Then what is this 200 million horses John referse here ?

First we will see why John is stating like this, then we see the mysteries behind these verses. We all us know that this book of Revelation was written in the 1^st century and also John know about the great wars before him and during his life time under the Roman Empire, based on this understanding he wrote like this. We cannot say in the end of days also it will happen same manner.

We know that during the sixth trumpet the war taking place in the world. Why this war? What is the reason for this war? all of us know that from the prophecy of old testament and new testament this war between good and evil that means Israel and Islam countries and both side supporters for these two countries. If 200 million horse will come against Israel ? I read many God servant’s commentaries. Each people explained in different manner. What I received when I pray to God I am sharing with you all. Most of the commentators tells India and China will provide this mush huge army. I accept its true, but here John mentioning is horsemen. This much horse men India and China will be able to provide? Today technology the wars taking place without human interaction example without pilot the war aircrafts are bombing in the enemies is place. From the long distance they are firing the missiles and attacking the enemies place. In this situation how 200 million people will involve the wars.

       whether 200 million horsemen is possible given that it is hard to imagine that there are 200 million horses available in the world. The reader had good reason to question whether 200 million literal horsemen can be mustered since the world’s horse population is estimated to range between only 58 to 75 million.[1][2] This fact would argue against the idea that there are going to be 200 million people who will each ride their own horse on the battlefield...

One theory I’ve seen posed is that the 200 million horsemen are spiritual beings rather than human beings. Theoretically, there could be 200 million spiritual horsemen riding around and slaying people. However, I don’t think this theory could be completely proven. But I wouldn’t rule it out either…

Another possibility comes from viewing John’s description of the 200 million horsemen from his perspective. John lived in the first century A.D. when motorized vehicles, guns, computers, etc did not exist. Consequently, John probably faced the difficult task of describing things that people in his era had no conception of. Imagine if you were in John’s position and had to describe technological advances that won’t be around for another 1900 years... I think it’d be a very difficult task… Some people who adopt this viewpoint attempt to figure out what modern day technology(s) John saw using the following details:

• Rev 9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
• Rev 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
• Rev 9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

For instance, my dad mentioned to me recently that he thought John could have saw tanks and armored personnel carriers…

I’ll let you decide whether to believe the 200 million consist of human beings or spiritual beings.

Further apostle John mentioned in 17^th verse about the people who sat on the horse and the horse. Here John specifically mention the dress colors

Three-color camouflage is now standard battle dress in every national army in the world. The riders of these battle-ready "horses" have breastplates using a three-color combination: red, blue, and yellow. As discussed above, three-color or four color camouflage is now the standard battle dress in almost all national armies of the world.

 According to Rood: "This is the exact position, clothing, and armament that is found on the battle tanks of every major power on the earth. Those who ride on the tank turret that controls the 155mm 'mouth' that kills as it belches fire and smoke are protected by a required issue camouflage flack jacket. The gunner mans a 50 caliber, air-cooled, belt-fed machine gun with a flash suppressor that looks exactly like a snake with a head. Out of this 'snake' comes a half inch diameter round that hurts very severely." 

Next we can see the appearances of horses

heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. (Rev. 9:17)

For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm. (Rev. 9:19)

Michael Rood explained these symbols very well. He writes:

The horses described here are obviously not of Equine origin: The horses had heads like lions that sat up on their bodies, with a devastating armaments system. Out of these heads came the ingredients that propel a 155mm howitzer: fire, smoke, and sulfur. Those that sat on top of this battlefield monstrosity were wearing the typical three-color camouflage flack jackets and full coverage tanker helmets that are required for all tank personnel. This gear is standard in every modern armored division because one depleted uranium 50 caliber round that penetrates the armor plate of the tank could ricochet around the interior and kill everyone inside.

According to Rood: "This is the exact position, clothing, and armament that is found on the battle tanks of every major power on the earth. Now may you can get a question in your mind, ok you are telling there is no 200 million horse in the world, horse itself not available means how 200 million tank will available in the world ? yes this is good question please read continuously you can get the answer for this question.

          Generally all the vehicles power are measured by horse power, if you see the horse power for one advance tanker used in the military is 2000 to 2500 horse power.  So we take the calculation as 2000 horse power also it around (2000000/2000 = ) 1000 tankers only. The 1000 tanker is very less during the world war.  We know that the powerfull nation like US, Russia, China, German, Iran, India, and Gulf India countries having more than 100 tankers. So 10 to 15 countries it 1000 tanker count is fulfilled.

This war is not a small one. This Armageddon war may be the final and third world war. So all the countries based on alliance the will fight each other. If happened like that the revelation 9:18 prophecy will come true 

Rev 9:18  By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed --- by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.

According to the statics of previous wars like first and second world war there are many people were killed. The statics tells in the first world war 8 million people were died and the second world war around 80 million people were died, based on the previous statics and current technologies and prediction of alliance of countries the experts are calculated around 2 billion people will die in the third world war. If 2 billion people will die means he whole world population is 7.5 billion people, the 2 billion is a third of the people out of total population.

Whatever the tanker produce the fire, small and brimstone the people will die. So as apostle John what he mentioned in the above verse will become true.

We can understand which is it mouth of the tanker and which is the tile for the tanker through this it will hurt and kill the a third of people.
