Revelation 13:4

Rev 13:4  So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"

So they worshiped the dragon

Here St. John clearly mentioned they worshiped. Who are they if we see the verse 2, we can able to understand them after the deadly wound was healed “all the world marvelled and followed the beast.”

But here the beast only healed but here St. John was mentioning “worshiped dragon”. We know that beast is different from dragon. The beast refers the anti-Christ, the dragon refers the Satan(Rev 12:9). Why the earth people worshiped the dragon. Form this what we can understand is, in that time the dragon is well known to the people. Because  Rev 13:2 tells us the dragon gave the power, his throne and his authority to the beast. So the people know because of this dragon only the beast was healed. So the people start worshiping the dragon. Now many God’s servants are healing the many diseases to the people after receiving the healing people how praising the God in the same manner in the end days when the beast was healed from wound, this happened because of dragon so the people worshiped the dragon.

who gave authority to the beast;

    What authority the dragon gave to the beast ? he was not given only the authority, but he also gave the power and his throne.

Authority

     If we see about authority, the satan called dragon appeared to out Lord Jesus when He was fasting he tested three time. The final test was he took out Lord Jesus to the high hill and told to Him bow down to me I will give all the authority to you

Mat 4:8 “Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

9          And he said to Him, "All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me."

But our Lord Jesus not accepted the offer He cast out the satan.

Mat. 4:10 “Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.'"

But here the anti-christ call beast is accept the offer. Because of the offering he became the ruler of the world. The satan gave all the kingdom of the earh to the beast.

they worshiped the beast, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"

    after worshiped the dragon now the earth start worshiping the beast and exalting his name no one like you, no one stand against you and no one over come you. How the believers of Christ giving Horner to Lord Jesus in the same manner the wicked people will give the horner to the beast and dragon.

Rev 13:5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.

Rev 13:6       Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies,

Here the word “he” represents the beast that is anti-christ. The satan so called dragon is dwelling in him. So whatever the beast speaks those words are belongs to satan.

What he speaking ? the NKJV version translated “he speak great thing.” But NIV version translated more clear “he speaks proud words” and blasphemies. Against whom he spoke Rev 13:6 is mentioned the he blasphemed against the God, against His name, against his tabernacle.

what proud words he spoke. As Isaiah already foretold in his book how the cherubim so called Lucifer spoke against God who dwelling in heaven.

Isaiah 14:12" How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!

Isaiah 14:12 For you have said in your heart: ' I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;

Isaiah 14:12 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.'

This is the word of satan

 

The same word this beast also will speak 2 Th. 2:3 & 4

2 Th. 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

 2 Th. 2: 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

“His tabernacle”

What he spoke against tabernacle ? what is there in the tabernacle His covenant. So spoil all the commands what God gave to us.

Commandment 1

Ex 20:2          " I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Ex 20:3          " You shall have no other gods before Me.

But here the dragon became god to the earth and they start worshiping the beast and dragon the covenant was broken

Commandment 2

4          " You shall not make for yourself a carved image --- any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;

Here they are made image to the beast Rev 13:14

“those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast”

Commandment 3

⁵       you shall not bow down to them nor serve them

Rev 13:4 they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast

Commandment 4

13       " You shall not murder”.

Rev 13: 15 “cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.”

14       " You shall not commit adultery”.

Rev 17:15 “THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. ”

Commandment 6

15       " You shall not steal”.

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Who is the thief ?

John 10:1 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

Commandment 7

16       " You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor”.

False prophet

Rev 13:12 “he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast,”

Like this the dragon and the beast was broken all the commandment what our LORD God gave to us.

“and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.”

These also things are going to happened in 42 months that means only the 3.5 years  in the most tribulation time. `
