11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."

¹²        Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

¹³        Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.' " "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them."

And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever;

Smoke is visible consequence of their torment. Burning in the lake of fire, yet not consumed, for the rest of eternity is what those who choose Satan will have to look forward too.

even Isaiah talks about this in Isaiah 34:8-10

⁸          For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, The year of recompense for the cause of Zion.

⁹          Its streams shall be turned into pitch, And its dust into brimstone; Its land shall become burning pitch.

¹⁰        It shall not be quenched night or day; Its smoke shall ascend forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste; No one shall pass through it forever and ever.

To whom this Punishment

"who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name"

Who ever worship other than our God Yahowah for all this is the punisiment for them. Even in deuteronomy God says like this to the israel people when the start worshiping the other God.

Deu 32:16-22

¹⁶        They provoked Him to jealousy with foreign gods; With abominations they provoked Him to anger.

²¹        They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God; They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols. But I will provoke them to jealousy by those who are not a nation; I will move them to anger by a foolish nation.

²²        For a fire is kindled in My anger, And shall burn to the lowest hell; It shall consume the earth with her increase, And set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

"Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'

The follower of God’s Commandment and the Faith on Jesus will give their life to God and Jesus those are Blessed people. This promise is not human promise this promise is promise of our God.
