Here Jesus appreciates the works of this church. Generally this church period were considering the Catholic Church period. If you see the catholic community mostly concentrated the service oriented activities. They spread the gospel through the service activities. Example through education, through hospital, charity services etc. To do these kind of work need love, service and patient, without these three these charity works can’t be done. So these charity works they sowed the faith in Christ to the people hearts.

This charity works, education and hospital services were the great strength to spread Christianity throughout world. Because of this so many people started to convert towards Christianity. Because of that Jesus told to this church the latter works exceed the first what it did.
